INTRODUCTION

Mint Fintech Group is the author and administrator of the internet application “MINT App” available for installation through the Google Play Store and App Store, through which it offers an application, monitoring and servicing of products and services for customers and potential customers of the members of the application, the legal entities that have entered into an application membership agreement.

An external collaborator for the Company’s internet application is the creator of the same, whereby on his own behalf and at the expense of the Company and the users, he ensures full compliance of the processing of personal data through the application with the relevant positive legal regulations of the Republic of North Macedonia, in which the users have the right to continuous and direct insight through its ITSO and DPO.

The personal data processed on the basis of these provisions are formed, processed and stored as a separate collection of personal data exclusively on the basis of personal and unambiguous consent of the subjects of personal data.

The terms of use and the privacy policy of the MINT application are governed by this policy and the General Terms and Conditions and Appendix 1 and Appendix 2.

Within the framework of the application, the members of the application enable their existing and potential customers to apply, monitor and service the products and services they provide.

USER GUIDELINES

Verification

After the user is successfully registered, he can use the application with limited access within which no personal data of the client is processed.

Standard Verification

Standard verification means collecting basic information about the client, namely:

• Name
• Surname
• Identification number
• Address
• City

With standard verification, the client has access to more tools, excluding those that process the client’s personal data.

Advanced Verification

Advanced verification means taking a photo of the front and back of an ID card and then creating your own “selfie” image. Images are verified using Amazon Rekognition. If the similarity of the face in the pictures is greater than 90%, it is considered to be the same person and then the data from the ID card is loaded as:

• Name
• Surname
• Social Security Number
• Address
• City
• Date of birth
• ID card number
• Date of issue
• Validity date

The client then checks the information and confirms it if it is correct. Once Advanced Verification is done, customer data is locked and cannot be modified.

SECURITY

Providing the connection between the application and the server (APIs)

To ensure the security of the connection between your application and the server, we use several techniques and protocols:

• Bearer token:
  • Each request from the application to the server is protected by a Bearer token. This token is unique for each user session and is used for authentication. This means that only users who possess the valid token can gain access to the server.
• SSL/TLS encryption:
  • The connection between the application and the server is protected by the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, specifically the latest version of TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security). TLS 1.3 is currently the most secure encryption standard that ensures that data transmitted between the application and the server is encrypted and cannot be read or manipulated by third parties.
• Security of data:
  • All communication between the application and the server is encrypted, which means that confidential data such as user information, passwords and financial data are protected from potential attacks and eavesdropping.
• Protection against unauthorized access:
  • By using Bearer tokens and SSL/TLS protocols, we prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the server. Even if someone tries to intercept the communication, because of the encryption, they will not be able to read the data.
• Biometric authentication
  • During each call to the server that makes any entries or changes, the client must confirm it with Biometric authentication (Fingerprint or Face ID)
• Regular Update:
  • Security protocols and authentication methods are regularly updated to ensure maximum protection against new threats and advances in technology.

With these measures, we ensure a secure and confidential connection between your application and the server, protecting your data from any unauthorized access.

The MINT Application, after an advanced verification has been carried out with the prior consent of the user, checks the user against the customer bases of the members of the Mint Group in order to provide the user with an application, monitoring and servicing of products and services at the members of the application of his choice.

INFORMING

The official way of information and communication in the MINT application is the official page of Mint Fintech Group, that is, communication in writing or by e-mail at the following address: [email protected].

By accessing the MINT application, users explicitly and irrevocably declare that they are familiar with and agree to the terms of use of the same, and that they are informed that they bear full responsibility for any non-compliance with the Rules.

The user may stop using the MINT application at his own request or may be unilaterally disconnected from the MINT application by the Members of the Mint App if he does not comply with the rules of use.

Members of the Mint App have the right to unilaterally change the terms and conditions of the MINT application its own menu without the consent of the User, by publishing the new conditions on the website of the Mint Fintech Group.

The members of the Mint App reserve the right to terminate the MINT application for its own menu with prior notice on their web portal.

PRIVACY

All information received from the users of the application, including their personal data, will be treated in accordance with the internal rules of the Members of the Mint App for the protection of personal data and the relevant regulations in force in the Republic of North Macedonia.

By accepting the terms of the MINT application, they can choose whether the Members of the Mint Group will use their personal data for direct (SMS and/or e-mail) marketing, in accordance with the laws in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The transfer and the right to use personal data of the members of the Program from the Members of the Mint App to MINT FINTECH GROUP import-export LLC Bitola will be treated in accordance with the internal rules of the Members of the Mint App for the protection of personal data and the corresponding regulations that are in force in the Republic of North Macedonia.

By accepting these Rules, the user of the MINT application agrees that his personal data will be registered, stored and processed in accordance with the regulations in the Republic of North Macedonia and the internal rules of the Members of the Mint App.

The terms of use and the privacy policy of the MINT application are governed this General terms, the Privacy Policy of the Mint Fintech Group and by Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 this General terms.
